Jenna Rodriguez

Owner/Operator

Jenna earned her Barber/Cosmetology license from Gateway Technical College in 2005. Her goal has always been to listen to her clients. By doing so, it has given her the experience to trouble shoot and solve most hair care issues. Jenna prides herself on performing thorough consultations with all of her new clients and maintaining communication with existing clients to ensure their hair looks great everyday, not just when they leave their appointment! Jenna worked for her previous employer for 10 years and while maintaining a full clientele she also managed 10+ team members. With this experience, combined with growing up in a family owned business, she is excited to provide Kenosha with a new version of full service family hair care!

Abi Nickel

Abi joined the Charlie John’s team June of 2018 and also received her license from Gateway. She enjoys doing the “total look” but is focusing her energy into being a master colorist. She may be quiet but her work speaks volumes!

Emilie Murphy

Emilie earned her Cosmetology license from The Salon Professional Academy in 2010. Since then, she has used her meticulous attention to detail to become one of the most ​well-rounded hair care specialists. Emilie’s desire to constantly master new and “old school” techniques has equipped her with the talent to service practically any type of hair. From dimensional color to weekly roller sets – from perfect blowouts to clipper over comb – from kid’s cuts to phenomenal wedding styles – Emilie has more than earned her title of Master Hair Care Specialist!

Marycruz Vargas

In 2012, Marycruz also earned her Cosmetology license from The Salon Professional Academy. Since then, she has used her talents to create some of the most beautiful colors but she found she truly enjoys transformational cuts. She loves a good Pixie cut! For the men – give her the clippers and she can fade all day. Marycruz sets customer service and an enjoyable atmosphere as a high priority for her clients – her chair is always a comfortable chair to be in!

Julius Mays

Julius joined the Charlie John’s team Dec 2018 and has been barbering for 20 years. He is licensed through the Navy, Gateway Tech and is currently earning his instructor lisences through Gateway. As a barber in the Navy, he developed the experience and mastered the ability to cut ANY hair type. Julius is excited to bring Kenosha the ol’ school barber experience with a professional and relaxed twist!
